You Can Be DEBT-FREE !!!!!

YES!!! It's absolutely true! People all over the world are in debt, and many cannot see themselves out of their predicament. But indebtedness does not have to be a way of life. It is entirely possible to become and remain debt-free!!!

It's true! Anyone can become debt-free if they will only adhere to the principles set forth here. First you need to understand your indebtedness and its magnitude. Then you must realize that there is a way out, and having come to that realization, you must set your mind to do what it takes to become debt-free. It's not hard work. In fact, there is no work involved at all!

You Are In Debt

Friends, you are in debt more than you realize. It's an indebtedness of astronomical and universal proportions! It's a debt that is insurmountable. You are in debt to God!

The Bible says, "As it is written, There is none righteous, no not one." (Romans 3:10). "For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God." (Romans 3:23).

Only Death Can Pay Your Debt

The Bible further says, "For the wages of sin is death.... Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for all have sinned." (Romans 6:23a, 5:12)

Therefore you and I and everyone else must pay the wages due for sin, which is death. This is more than just physical death, dear friends. The Bible also says, "The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget God." (Psalm 9:17) "And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death." (Revelation 20:14). The cost is enormous, indeed! After you die, the payment for sin has only just begun, and you will pay the debt of sin for all eternity. "And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever." (Revelation 14:11a). The Bible asks the probing question: "Who among us shall dwell with the devouring fire? Who among us shall dwell with everlasting burnings?" (Isaiah 33:14)

Your Debt Has Already Been Paid In Full !!!

Yes, dear friend, it is true. Because of God's great love for you and me and everyone else, He has paid your debt!!! "And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins." (Matthew 1:21).  "But God cemmendeth his love for us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." (Romans 5:8). "For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God." (I Peter 3:18a). It is your debt and you are responsible for its payment, but our of His pure love and mercy, Jesus paid it all! He died on the cross and shed His blood to pay your debt of sin! "In whom we have redemption through His blood, even the forgiveness of sins." (Colossians 1:14). "When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, 'It is finished': and he bowed his head and gave up the ghost (spirit)" (John 19:30).

But, Jesus Christ did not stay in the grave; He arose, proving He is God! His resurrection is our guarantee that the payment is good for all eternity. "Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them." (Hebrews 7:25).

You Must Claim The Payment For Yourself.

Dear friends, if someone was to go to your bank and deposit one million dollars into your account for you, what good would it do you if you chose not to believe it and make claim to the money? It does you no good unless you go to the bank and claim your money for yourself. It would be such a waste to leave it sit there in the bank because of your refusal to believe someone had done that for you and your refusal to go and claim the money for your own. In fact, excuse me for saying so, but it would be STUPID!

Friends, Jesus the Christ died to pay the debt of your sin and for the sin of everyone, but not everyone has claimed the payment. Have YOU??? You must believe what He has done for you, first of all. "This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners..." (I Timothy 1:15a). "And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in His Son." (I John 5:11). "For the scripture saith, 'Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.' " (Romans 10:11).

Secondly, you must lay claim to what has been provided. You must claim His payment for your debt by faith. Faith is complete trust. To escape burning forever in the lake of fire, you must trust Jesus the Christ and the payment He made for you on the cross. "For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." (John 3:16). "I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish." (Luke 13:3). "Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be save." (Acts 16:31b).

Have You Claimed The "Paid In Full" Receipt For Your Sin Debt?

Are you willing to turn away from your sin and let Him become the Lord of your life? "He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him." (John 3:36). It's your choice. How will you choose?

I choose to trust Jesus and His finished payment for my sin debt.

"That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shall believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. . . For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." (Romans 10:9-10, 13) ***

I choose to reject the payment of Jesus Christ and trust my "payment," accepting my indebtedness for myself.

"How shall we escape if we neglect so great salvation?" (Hebrews 2:3a).

"In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus (the) Christ: who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of His power." (II Thessalonians 1:8-9)
