We should claim prosperity from the devil now in Jesus' Name! Jesus is heir of the whole earth. It all belongs to Him and He deserves it. However, the enemy stole it from Adam, and now much of it has been possessed by those who represent the enemy.
As Christ's representatives, we should claim whatever we need to see God's will done here. That must include prosperity because it takes wealth in some form to do anything on earth. Christians are commissioned to proclaim the Good News of Jesus Christ on the earth, and the reality of the matter is, it takes money to do that.. With that commission came the right to use His authority.
MARK 16:15,17 NKJ
15 And He said to them, "Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every
creature.
17 "And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast
out demons; they will speak with new tongues;"
As we go forth in the authority of Jesus, whatever we need, we should claim, not in our name, but in the Name above every name: the Name of the One Whom we serve. The Name represents the authority.
We are ambassadors for Christ, representing Him in this world. Ambassadors are appointed and sent by their president/king to represent their country to others. They speak and act on behalf of their country, and are backed up by delegated authority given them by their president/king. They do not raise their own support. They represent someone else -- they do not represent themselves. The president/king is not there physically with them. Yet they speak on behalf of the president/king and their country, saying, "In the name of the President (or King). . .." or, "In the name of the United States (or whatever country). . ." In bygone days, explorers claimed lands in the name of their king.
Likewise, we are sent by, supported by, and represent Someone else: the King of Kings! We are the occupation forces for the victorious Lord Jesus Christ. He won the battle. Now we are to occupy till He returns. When we encounter any opposition or need, we are authorized to bind and neutralize it in His Name (Matthew 16:19).
What does His Name have authority over? Everything that has a
name!
PHILIPPIANS 2:9-10 NKJ:
9 Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which
is above every name,
10 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and
of those on earth, and of those under the earth,
You might inherit something located in another place from a relative who died. I could then ask, "When are you going to claim your inheritance?" I would not say that before you received notice it was yours. But after legal notice that it is yours, you can claim it whenever you desire.
We are heirs of Abraham's promise, and God promised to bless Abraham in order that he could be a blessing to others. God wants to bless us so we can bless others. Prosperity is not intended just for our own personal wealth, but to give to those in need and to further the work of the Kingdom.
What would you do if you found others using your inheritance when you went to claim it? Would you say, "Why don't things ever work out for me? I thought my departed relative wanted me to have that, but I guess he doesn't. Maybe he changed his mind?" No! You would not.
Then why do it with what our Lord Jesus said He gave us? If someone had unlawful possession of your inheritance, you would no doubt notify them of your claim and tell them to give it to you. If they refused, you would seek help from a law enforcement officer.
We must do the same with the devil -- who is a thief. We must resist him with the sword of the spirit, speaking the Word of God (Ephesians 6:17). If necessary, another Christian can stand with us, to enforce the law of God. Several scriptures reveal that we will have opposition from the devil. Jesus told us to resist him. We must speak to problems and command them to be removed (Mark 11:23). We use spiritual weapons when we speak the Will of God.
It is time that we, as representatives of King Jesus, find out His will. Then assert His delegated authority to get the job done!
Read this over, and study the Bible until you believe this. Then say the
following daily:
Jesus is Lord of this earth. The earth with all its fullness belongs to my
God. As a joint heir with Jesus, I claim the wealth of this earth, for it
belongs to Jesus. I claim my inheritance in Christ Jesus. I claim all that
Jesus' death made available for me to receive.
In Jesus' Name I command you devil to loose the wealth of this earth! Take
your hands off now! I command every hindering force to stop! In Jesus' Name
I bind you and render you ineffective against me!
In Jesus' Name I command wealth to come to me now!
Jesus is Lord of my life. Jesus is Lord of my finances. Jesus Is Lord!
